The Pacific Northwest region has long been a leader in the effort to increase awareness of environmental issues. Taking the lead on creating various programs and initiatives, including improving communities, saving energy, creating The Green Building Task Force, the "Seattle releaf" program and reducing gas emissions, the city of Seattle is inspiring others to follow suit in its pursuit of a greener city.
Like the city itself, the Seattle Gift Show is serious about earth-friendly options in products and design. Among the show highlights:
ECO (Earth Conscious Option) Listing - A listing to help identify products in the show that are considered Green, Sustainable, Biodegradable, Organic, Recycled/ Reclaimed and Fair Trade handicrafts. Companies that donate a portion of proceeds to a charity that promotes sustainable and humanitarian efforts are eligible for this classification as well. This listing will be highlighted in the official show directory and here on the web site by clicking the link above once available.
ECO Product Display- Companies who meet the ECO requirements and choose to display their newest products in the Product Preview Area, located across from registration, will receive special ECO/Green By Design ID cards to further identify the category.
Hip From Holland
Directory Category Listing- On show site, you will be able to search through our official show directory to see all companies whose products fall under the Environmentally Friendly/ Natural/Recycled Product category and their corresponding booth number for easy locating.
